So you feel great. And everything else. However you come into work today, and I happen to be your boss and I say David, due to the recession or downsizing or right sizing or whatever terminology you want to use. We want to thank you for your 20 years of service, but we no longer need you.

Your role goes from nine to zero. How does that make you feel about yourself, you feel worthless, you feel terrible,. David Ralph [] you feel like you have. Bob Urichuck [] how many people in the last years have lost their job with the lost their job, they lost their role with the loss of their role, they lost their identity, with the loss of their identity lost their family turned to drugs, alcohol and even gone as far as committing suicide.

David Ralph [] Millions. And this has become a very serious problem. What happens to them within five years of retirement? They die? Let me ask you a question. Seven, so we can look forward to retirement to die within five years? Bob Urichuck [] no. So now I want to ask you another question. Who am I? Without roles? I want you to be stripped of all your roles. And the mirror in front of you look in that mirror right? Would you see zero?

But you hate being a lawyer. So if you feel like a three, how you going to perform in any role of your choosing. Now, you rated yourself as a nine, you rate yourself as a nine because you got good high self esteem, self confidence, self respect. You live your life from the inside out. Now, if you feel like a nine How you going to perform in any role of your choosing? David Ralph [] Same scale. Now you come into work a David and I say to you, David, I no longer need you to recession all the rest of it.

Your rule was from nine to zero. What does it do to your identity? Same as before word Is. Bob Urichuck [] that it? If you put your focus on your identity, and you feel like a nine and you lose your job? Bob Urichuck [] You will stay as a nine Yeah. Oh, use your greatest that? Yeah, you know you you got the answer. Who is your greatest enemy? Me Exactly. Your greatest enemy has taken you from a 10 would you came into this world as a miracle.

Are you you know how many millionaires are there out there? Put up your hand. And let me prove it to you. However, they decided to try this, but something called bone putty and screws.

They put a pin through my knee, a plate up the side and 15 screws to hold it together and loaded the bone potty. Now people used to say I was screwed up. David Ralph [] Personal? Bob Urichuck [] Would you sell me an arm for a million bucks?

David Ralph [] Goes Nope. Bob Urichuck [] Okay. Are you not worth mega? What value do you place on yourself? You came into this world as a billionaire is a miracle. Because you see your identity, the way you rate your identity. That is, you total it up. That equals your self worth your self confidence, your self esteem, your self respect, you add that up, that equals your net worth, your net worth translates into your your self worth translates into your net worth.

Just to give you another scenario, what someone criticise or sorry, when you fail at something, or you get rejected. Is it role or is that identity. Bob Urichuck [] Israel. But what happens is we take role rejection, we take role failure, we bring it over to the identity side, we beat ourselves up we criticise ourselves and we lower that self worth.

Can you see how that works? Absolutely, we have to do now is we have to divide the role and the identity, we have to put a very, very strong barrier between rule and identity.

And what we do is we let rule fluctuate. We put our focus on our identity, and we focus on getting ourselves up to attend. Let me show you an example how I did that. I was around age And I found that people think too much.

What happens when you think about doing something. Well, it gets too big for them. But not only that fear sets in what will happen if this happens, what happens if I do that? What will people think the more they think about it, the higher the fear factor, with fear comes indecision. Unknown Speaker [] Just taking action? Just do it. David Ralph [] You fail? Bob Urichuck [] I fail. Now what this society do when they fail?

David Ralph [] You get up and you go again? Oh, yeah,. David Ralph [] hang on. Because I think this this emphasise is when you was at your lowest point, and you sat down with a piece of paper and you you wrote it down.

Bob Urichuck [] So working towards that, David. David Ralph [] Yes. So I just want to know, that state of mind, is it so far removed from the normal people out there listening that that moment you were in?

But what do they do day in and day out? And if they fail, they beat themselves up criticise themselves lower their self esteem lower their self worth.

Because of all the failures and criticism they put themselves through because the greatest enemy, so here it is at age 20 I decide to do something different. Success is based on good judgement, good judgement, is based on experience. Well, what kind of experience? Do you get to have success? David Ralph [] more success? By No, but if you fail, you not get experience from failure. Bob Urichuck [] Would you agree that you have to fail often to succeed once?

David Ralph [] No. Bob Urichuck [] Edison, Thomas Edison and dead invented the light bulb in one shot. No, Disney created Disney World by. David Ralph [] people that have done it straight away. I know. Bob Urichuck [] I agree. People criticise themselves and they fail. They beat themselves up, they lower their self esteem at age 20, I decided to do something different.

First of all, I we all need courage. To get courage, we need to build up our self esteem our self worth. So rather than criticising myself and beating myself up, when I fail, I decided to do the opposite. I gave myself at age 20, permission to have 10 learning opportunities a day, permission to go out and fail 10 times a day.

The minute I got a lesson learned. I would tap myself on the shoulder there and say Good job, Bob, at least you had the courage to try something that ever did before. Keep up the good work. Because I did that. It gave me courage. They operated the the reason to take action. Does this make sense to you now David, and he? David Ralph [] preaching to the converted?

I believe in his toe? I know,. David Ralph [] and they get the idea. And the first thing I did as I sat down, and I decided to look in the mirror for the first time in six years, when I looked in the mirror, I decided to look beyond the exterior factors. In other words, people feel great when they put on makeup, or they get dressed, it makes them feel good. These are all external factors. So I got stripped down, I wanted to go internal, I want to get it on my phone itself on the inside.

And I want you to start at the top of your head and unzip that zipper all the way down to your toes. And I want you to get out of your skin. How different are you? How different are all of us in the world?

The only thing different about us? Okay, no problem. Okay, the only thing different. One, yes, I was ugly on the outside. Is that my problem? Or is it your problem? What matters more is how I perceive myself. So basically, I went inside to get to know myself in the inside out. And should I not feel better about me than what other people feel about me what matters most for you to like yourself, or for somebody else to like you. David Ralph [] always that you like yourself?

So this is a whole internal part of getting to know ourselves. I had no idea. First of all, I should back up a little. It was also a 18 that I got exposed to the powers of the mind. I was walking in a shopping centre, I was in my last semester of college. And a lady came up to me and said, Would you be interested in an international marketing opportunity. And I said, definitely. And I was studying marketing. And I wanted to see the world I had big desires that way. As it turns out, it became a network marketing company.

And I went in and of course, I ended up spending the weekend with them. And they taught me all about goal setting and open up the mind and dreams and all these possibilities. So I got super excited about all this. And it took me down a whole new path, a new world for me, it opened up my mind to the powers of the mind and what goal setting is about what success is all about.

And it really inspired me. And I sat down at the dining room table One morning I called going to work sick. And I sat down at the dining room table with a pad of paper and a pen. And I just wrote down Bob, what do you want to life. And then I started to play a game myself. And anything that I want in life I could have providing I write it down.

I want to be everything I want to do everything I want to have. So I wrote and I wrote and I wrote as if nothing was impossible, there were no barriers, eliminations. And it made me feel great. I slept on it, I woke up in the night added things to it. I thought about it as I went to work. And as I got to work, I remember getting out of the car, and holding that pad of paper up to the sky and saying this is all I want out of life.

And I put the pad in the car, close the door and went to work. And can you remember the first thing that you wrote on that pad. But, but what matters most is where the process took me to.

But during the six months, what I did is I went through a number of exercises. And that brought it down and brought me to a focused and then what I started to do is group them categorise them and prioritise them. And this led me to ask and people a question today that I asked this question, why do you go to work? What do you think I get all over the world to pay the bills? The answers the question, sorry, the rule of three plus means you take the answer you question the answer.

You listen to the answer, you question the answer. You listen to the answer, you question the answer, go to work, to make money, make money to do what to pay the bills, or to have a certain lifestyle, well, what kind of lifestyle? And the more we question that lifestyle, we help people to discover what their dream is.

What people need to understand is that work is nothing but a stepping stone to help you get where you want to go. But mostly, with all of the time you spent prior to the event to identify the association's objectives, specific needs and desired outcomes.
