Where to find electric pokemon blue

Part of the reason for that was the secrets contained within the games. This list is about those hidden locations. Some locations are easy to find in Red and Blue as long as the player explores each area of the map thoroughly, but some are only possible to reach if the player manipulates the game.

One of those ways activates another glitch where the player is suddenly able to walk through walls in Pewter City. The setup for the glitch colloquially called "Brock through walls" is incredibly intricate and requires multiple complicated steps, but if walking straight through the Pewter City Gym and coming out the other side sounds fun to you, you might want to try it!

Once Misty appeared as a main character in the anime, she began to get bigger roles in the succeeding games. Instead, the player has to find her at Cerulean Cape at the end of Kanto Route The three legendary birds of Kanto are available for the player to catch— if they know where to look. Ember in the remakes. Each of the birds presents a unique challenge, as the player only gets one chance to catch them. Ordinarily, a player has steps while inside the Safari Zone before they have to leave. Someone new to the franchise may simply forget about the cave after that.

Some glitches sound a bit more interesting than they end up being. If the player then stands on the spot the tree used to be, saves on that spot and turns the game off, the player will be standing on top of the tree when the game turns back on.

Capturing Zapdos is the main reason to come to the Power Plant, so you can now leave through the western exit, which will kick you out on to Route 10 next to the door you used to enter. The next story area to tackle is Sliph Co. It's a little more convoluted than the Power Plant though, so this guide will take care of some story events first.

Characters like Alakazam shone out of the rest of the bunch simply because of how the type worked. There were two types that were effective against Psychic: Bug and Ghost.

Despite these advantages, we still cannot recommend that you choose Mr. It does have some moves that damage opponents, but they pale in comparison to a creature like Alakazam. Even Jynx, a counterpart to Mr.

Mime in a few ways, has the additional Ice type to give it a much wider move pool than just a few different Psychic and Normal attacks. We'll stop beating around the bush here. They're often given dual typing that hinders them and their moves aren't that great.

More often than not, their types actually make them weaker rather than stronger. Golem has already been shown to be one of the worst in Red and Blue. That said, there is a Rock-type that might be a better option in the long run: Rhydon.

However, it wasn't until Gen IV that Rhydon was given an evolution in the form of Rhyperior and made a little more useful in battle. You find them at low levels and they have extremely weak stats. Just one shot from a Charmeleon and they'll be knocked out before you can do anything with them. In addition to that, the only type in the game that Bug types were strong against was Psychic, meaning that they were useless in just about every other scenario.

Most types had more than one advantage, which made the choice all the more difficult. The worst case of the bug problem in Red and Blue is likely Beedrill. In the games, you have the choice of a Caterpie or Weedle to train. If you pick the latter, you're rewarded with a bee with massive needles on its arms at level Unfortunately, this Bug and Poison type is extremely weak. Moves like Twineedle and Poison Sting do little to justify why trainers should have it on their team.

While it might be fierce in the anime, it's not good in the games. That's a type given to a creature that Game Freak wasn't sure where else it would fit. The Normal type isn't strong against anything but is weak to Fighting attacks. Their strength lies in being able to learn attacks from other types to round out their move pools and get the job done.

Of the few Normal-types in Red and Blue , there are none better than Tauros. However, if you put the effort to get one of these on your team, you won't be disappointed. Its attack stat is devastating, it has an insane speed stat, and it has an increased chance to deal critical damage. On top of that, Tauros has access to powerful moves like Earthquake and Blizzard, which, combined with its high speed, mean that it can hit hard and fast.

While Snorlax could've made the list, everyone knows that its HP is what makes it so good. If you remember the first season of the anime, then you might remember that Ash and his friends took a trip to a town that was covered in smog. Their leader was an even bigger pile of sludge known as Muk. Ash caught the Muk and had it sent to Professor Oak's lab, where it became quite a lovable creature. While Muk was shown to be quite useful in the anime, the same can't be said for Red and Blue.

The problem with this is similar to Bug types. It has a very limited number of types it's strong against. It can defeat Grass-types, but without heavy moves on the same level as Solar Beam or Fire Blast, it's much more practical to fill that slot in with Fire types.

Venusaur, as a Poison-type, is a better choice. This means that they can pack a serious punch if they can get an attack in. The ones that are most effective will come down to how much damage they can deal before they go down and how quickly they can deal it. Most fans of Red and Blue are fond of Machamp, simply because its stature is much more impressive and it seems more powerful.

However, one of the best choices in the Kanto Region is the furious kicker, Hitmonlee. Even between its counterpart, Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee has many impressive stats particularly in the attack department that make it a better choice. Not only that, but Hitmonlee is better built for taking a hit, having greater HP. Because of this, it's one of the most effective Fighting types to use in the game. At least, it would be until Game Freak invented Lucario to shake up the competition.

Seaking is extremely similar to its pre-evolved form. It looks like Goldeen, but the colors are reversed and it's bigger. It has also has a longer horn on its head. Because of this, Seaking can learn Horn Drill on top of standard Water attacks.
